This RoundUp App API specification provides everything you need to return a list of merchant-selected nonprofits, aka institutions, as well as create, view, update, or cancel donations to the selected nonprofit, aka transactions. Additionally, it enables creating, viewing, or canceling donation refunds.
Our API accepts form-encoded request bodies, returns JSON-encoded responses, and uses standard HTTP response codes, authentication, and verbs.
You can use the RoundUp App API in test mode, which does not affect your live data in any way. The API key you use to authenticate the request determines whether the request is live mode or test mode.
